got andrews puking virus thing so Im off work today. Got paid less than I expected so we're still skint, just not as much as we were. ah well.

well its the weekend now, in case nobody had noticed. Not done much today. I'm trying to sort our room out and so far haven't done very much except come across various bits and bobs from the wedding and sat and gone all mushy over them. so not the most productive of days.

Working for Regis (boo hiss) tonight. Can't be arsed at all with it but we need the money (£24 woo yay not) so needs must. At least I've got tomorrow at home so thats okay.

Thats about all for now. Pretty boring at the moment. Finally bought a couple of wee things for the boys for Christmas so at least I've finally started my chrimbo shopping - next year glittery_vodka is going to be employed as my Christmas shopping guru (as well as official decision maker which she has been employed as for a while). Theres still a position for someone to be my personal style consultant available as she wasn't keen on that job so does anyone want it? The pay is fairy cakes made by me and Andrew. Now all i need is a cleaner and nanny and I'll never need to do anything myself again :D Seriously though, does anyone use a cleaner? My mum had one for a while when we were younger. I hate housework but I hate the place being a mess as well.

well! My parents are officially wonderful. They have kindly offered to loan us the money to get our windows, kitchen and bathroom done. I am so excited and quite gobsmacked - it means that we seriously havea good chance of being ready enough to sell this place next summer and make a healthy profit on what we paid for it - theres been upgarded flats in our street going for about £40-45,000, and we paid just under £25,000 for ours 3 years ago so we stand to almost double our money if we're lucky! I'm so excited now.

So, basically, if anyones knows of good places to get kitchen bathroom or window bargains please let me know, likewise if you know of places having sales etc. Also if you know of places to avoid like the plague, please let us know.

1. Andrew and Lewis seem to be a bit of a handful. How do you cope?
They're much much worse when we're with other poeple (especially other kids), at home they're not too bad. They feed off each others energy - on his own, Lewis is the most delightful little boy, he's so smiley and chirpy but with Andrew he grumbles and moans a lot. Andrew is manic when Lewis (or other kids are about) but on his own he's happy to help me bake, and sit and colour in, or sit cuddled up on the couch watching movies. Really - the only reason I cope is because I absolutely love them more than anything in the world, and I couldn't imagine life without them, hence why I want to try and spend as much time with them as possible before they are whisked off to school for the majority of the day.

2. Are you happy? (Especially since giving up work)
I really am. I'm happy being married, and I'm happy being at home. As I've been saying a lot recently - when I was working I missed being at home with the boys but now I'm at home, I don't miss work, which must be good.

3. You and Fenn are really quite different people. Why do you think people think you're interchangeable?
Because they think saying it will wind us up, thats the main reason. We're not really any different than being best mates with someone - we stick up for each other, as mates would, we have a laugh as mates would, and we argue like sisters do. We really are incredibly different - if Fenn had my life I think she would gnaw her own arms off with boredom (despite that she is a fab auntie and loves her nephews to bits), and if I had Fenns life I don't think I could cope with the not knowing where things were headed. we support each other without having to agree on everything or hold the same opinions.

4. Are you going to have more kids, or do you think Stewart would cry?
I want 1 more, and stewart seems to eventually coming round to my way of thinking.

5. What's your honest opinion of me? :)
I really don't know you as well as I would like to - I think you are a very loving person and obviously well trained, er I mean caring - you look after Devin and Kirsty and everything. Every time I've met you though you've looked different to how I've expected though, can't quite explain that one.

Actually no, i wouldn't change a thing. In a way I wish we'd planned it for when we were better off financially but then again once we've got money, whenever that happens, the boys will be grown up and have their own jobs *cackle*

Well I'm a younger and an older. I would say its quite good being able to look at what mysisters do sometimes and go 'aah been there, done that'. Also I would like to think I am able to give them advice if they want it (unlikely).

Married and thinking about having kids, so not too far off the mark.

1. What single moment from your wedding day stands out in your mind?
Either absolutely shitting myself with nerves in the car with my dad from my mums to the hotel, or walking in and seeing Stewart at the end of the aisle
2. What is the most impressive thing you can cook?
Hmm I don't know about most impressive but everyone loves my lasagna and millionaires shortbread (not on the same plate though obv.). I was rather impressed with my homemade sweet and sour when I first made it a few weeks ago as well.
3. What would be your ideal romantic evening?
Going out for dinner, plenty of wine and chat, home for bed shenanigans, OR staying in with a dvd, cuddled up on the couch, more wine and shenanigans.
4. What were you like at school?
Ha ha a spaz. Me and Lyndsay were the token 'goffs' (despite never being in any way gothic in my entire life). Sometime we were hippies too apparently. I was quite confident despite having suffered from bullying - I'd like to think it shaped me to be a better person as it never really got me down - I was able to give as good as I got. the only time I lost it was when i walloped one guy who was a complete idiot, i can't even remember what he said to me now although I think Lyndsay might remember. I remember screaming at him that he was (and I quote, while cringing) 'a disgrace to society'.
5. Do you have any regrets about becoming a stay at home mum?
None at all - as I've said a few times - when I was working I missed being at home with the boys but now I'm at home I don't miss work in the slightest - and not because it was crap jub as i really enjoyed it for the most part.

In some ways yes but in other ways its great, for example its so easy to find out information, do research or even find addresses and phone numbers.

Trainers are comfy and therefore excellent, however high heels look good.

Well we woke up late again this morning so I am just dingying nursery for Andrew :( someone else tell me you've done this cos I feel guilty about it. Anyway, finally decided what we're dressing the boys up as for Halloween, so we're going to get ourselves sorted and head out soon to pick up the stuff we need.

I must admit I'm rather excited about Halloween, went over to Fenns last night after work and we finished Lyndsays costume and got a bit more of Fenn's done. They're all looking pretty good even if I do say so myself! Wheeeee!

Soooooo its friday! having a wee girly night tonight cos Stewarts away out to his pals new flat. We're going to have dinner then do halloweeny stuff. I have lots to do today so I'll need to get a move on very soon.

Oh! I had a huge fight with this complete idiot on an LJ community last night, twas hilarious! Basically its a recipes community and someone asked for a recipe for Bruschetta, so I stuck in what I normally do when I make it (hhmmm, in fact I could make it tonight as I'm making italian...) and this utter freak totally went off non one because it 'wasn't totally authentic'. Ha ha. Then everyone started going 'wtf you crazy bitch' and she went 'oh noes my mother in law just died'. Ehh, right, okay! Anyway, doesn't matter.
